Description And Directions

  • Site Description: The recreation site is popular with fishing, hunting and camping enthusiasts. Not suitable for large trailers or RV's but great for truck campers, tent trailers and tenters. Both shady and sunny sites are located here.

  • Driving Directions: Located north of Pike Mountain. From the junction of HWY 5 and 5A/97C, South East of Merritt take HWY 5A/97C 23 kms East to the Aspen Grove turn-off. Follow HWY 5A south for 24 kms and turn right on Pike Mtn. Forest Service Road. At about the 1 km mark turn right, proceed 1. 7 km and turn left, go 0.4 km further and keep to the right and drive 7.3 km up this rough road. Turn left here and drive the 0.5 km narrow road into the north end of Johnny Lake.
