Description And Directions

  • Site Description:

    The Little Douglas Lake Trail is a non motorized hiking trail accessing Little Douglas Lake. The trailhead is located adjacent to Zum Peak Recreation Site.

    The trail is approximately 2km one way with a total elevation gain of 70m. Sections of bog bridge traverse a marshy area before crossing a creek and climbing to the lake. Please note there is no bridge across the creek and attempting the creek crossing is not advised during periods of high flow.

    Camping facilities are available at the lake and include tent pads, food caches, toilet, and communal fire pit. Tent pads can accommodate tents up to 8' x 8' and are first come first serve.

  • Driving Directions:

    Located off Highway 5, access is from the Coquihalla Lakes exit (#228) and then on to Upper Coldwater Road heading to the west. Following this will lead to the Zum Peak Recreation Site at the 8km mark where you will find the the marked trailhead.

    NOTE: Please park in the designated parking area across from Zum Peak Recreation Site to allow access for campers.
