Fees and Reservations

Camping Fees are charged at some recreation sites for a family from the same residence or parties of up to six people. An additional fee may apply to groups with more than one vehicle. Fees collected by operators will vary depending on the type and level of service provided and are used to cover the cost of supervision, repairs and maintenance (cash only please). Go to “Find a Site or Trail” for additional information on applicable fees and other information on sites and trails throughout the province. Seniors and Elidible Persons with Disabilities recieve a 50 percent discount from standard camping fees. There are no fees at User Maintained recreation sites and trails or some managed sites and trails where operator expenses are covered another way. * The legal authority to collect fees is further described in the Forest Recreation Regulation.

Except for the Chilliwack District (check recreation site details on how to reserve );there is no reservation system for recreation sites – camping is entirely on a first-come, first-served basis.
