  • Site Description:Recently upgraded in 2016, Long Point is a quiet site on the south side of Lower Campbell Lake. The campsites are perched above the lake and there is a short trail down to a day use area at the lakeshore. It is easy to pack a canoe to the water's edge for a nice paddle up the narrows or to the little islands.

  • Driving Directions:From Campbell River, head towards Gold River on Highway 28. Turn right onto Strathcona Dam Road (gravel). Stay on the main road until you can see the dam up ahead. Turn right before crossing over the dam, the road is a little rougher from this point on. When you come to a junction, take the left fork to the site.
