  • Site Description: Upgraded in July 2023, this is a nice walk-in site 2.3kms off Highway 19 near Roberts Lake, up the McNair FSR. Access from the parking lot to McNair Lake Rec Site is an easy 500m walk beside a creek, through a beautiful second growth forest. This is a great little site for picnicking, camping, casting your line from the shore or canoeing the multi-armed lake.

  • Driving Directions: From Campbell River, head north on Highway 19 for 33kms. At the end of Roberts Lake, just past the rest area, turn left on to the McNair Lake Forest Service Road. Stay on the main road and after the bridge veer left and follow the road until you see the parking lot. Walk in 500m to access the lake and Recreation Site.
