  • Site Description: This site is located in an open area on the shores of Grizzly Lake and offers the basic amenities of 2 pit toilets, tables and fire rings. There is an unimproved boat launch suitable for small car-top boats, and the lake offers decent fishing for rainbow trout. The lake is stocked annually with Pennask strain rainbows.

  • Driving Directions: Travel 17kms south of Prince George (Hwy 97). Turn left on to the Willow Cale FSR (112.5km). Next turn right at 121km (T-junction), turn left at 142km and cross the bridge (Coalmine FSR). Continue until 5.4km and turn right. The site is at ~5.7km on the Willow-Grizzly FSR.

    * Please note that the Willow-Coalmine Bridge is under repair and may be closed between Sept. 11 and 25th. Willow North (off Hwy 16) is an alternative. The 5km access road (Grizzly) is quite rough - it remains 2WD accessible but a higher clearance vehicle is recommended*
