Chubb Lake (Quesnel)

Site Description: This easily accessible site is enjoyed year round for camping, swimming, fishing and ice fishing. There are 3 camping areas located immediately adjacent to the access road, and another 6 within the main portion of the site. The sites are situated amongst some beautiful Douglas Fir trees along the northern shores of the lake. The basic amenities of fire rings, picnic tables and pit toilets are provided. The lake is annually stocked with Blackwater and Horesefly strain rainbow trout. Motor boats may be used on the lake, but there is a 10HP limit in place.

Driving Directions: This site is located south of Prince George off Highway 97. At ~9kms south of Hixon turn right (follow the Chubb Lake Bible camp sign). Take the next left (100m) and continue until you reach the the "Y" in the road, keep to the right. At ~7km turn right and the site is within 1km.
