Six Mile Bay (Mackenzie)

Site Description: This site is located adjacent to Six Mile Bay on Williston reservoir. The main portion of the site is located in an old cut block area, so most sites are fairly open, but there are still some mature spruce and aspen trees near most sites. The open nature of the site allows users to have fabulous views of the surrounding hill sides and distant mountain peaks. The site has 17 camp sites and the basic amenities of tables, fire rings and pit toilets are provided. There is a gravel boat launch suitable for trailered boats, but when the reservoir level drops the launch becomes unusable due to a steep drop off.

Driving Directions: Travel north of Mackenzie to the Parsnip West FSR. Proceed for approx. 41km and the site is accessed via a left turn. Stay right at the first fork after turning off the Parsnip west and you will come to the site within 1 km.
