  • Site Description:The trail offers motorized trail access to Stewart Lake Rec Site. Portion of Section 10 to 12 (approximately 5 km on the Woody Road) of the Stewart Lake Trail is closed due to damage on the trail. Access around this section of trail can be gained by following the industrial road around the damaged section of trail. Use caution while traveling around industrial roads. Several warming shelters are located along the trail as well as a main warming shelter at Stewart Lake. The Moose ATV and Northland Trail Blazers Snowmobile clubs maintain the trail system and facilities along the trail system.

  • Driving Directions: From Fort St John, Drive south on the Alaska Hwy, Past Taylor, up the South Taylor hill and to the Gange Road. Turn right at Stewart Lake Rec Trail Sign, and drive 14km to trailhead. Stay on Road and Trail as access is through private land.
