  • Site Description: Elevation gain: 300m Distance to Pedley Pass: 2 km. Further indistinct trails travel to a small alpine tarn (west), or up to an open ridge (east). Quick access to scenic alpine ridge walking. One km from the trailhead the trail passes interesting Bumpy Meadows. Connections to Pedley and Mary Anne Creek trails involve route finding. NEW TRAIL ROUTE: A newly constructed trail leads northeast from the parking area through forested switchbacks that lead to an open ridge walk. Follow the ridge until the trail drops into forested Pedley Pass, then 2km further to return to the parking area. The loop can be completed in either direction. Starting the trail in a counter clockwise direction allows for access to the small tarn and less exposure to the long ridge walk for those wanting a shorter up-and-back day.

  • Driving Directions: Access is via an industrial mining road along Windermere Creek. Directional signs lead you to the trailhead. After leaving the active haul road, access is by high clearance vehicles.
