  • Site Description:The adjacent Holdich gravel pit will be expanded during the summer of 2016 to support Hwy 23N repaving, work will be starting June 1st, 2016. Site will remain open for camping, day use, and boat launch during gravel pit operations. Please check back for more details on gravel pit work as it becomes available.

    The Carnes Creek campground is a large and very popular campground sitting on the shores of Lake Revelstoke. The Recreation site is made up of two sites. The southern site (36 km from the Trans Canada on Highway 23) contains 27 sites and a small Day Use area and a boat launch. The northern site (another 3 km north) contains 6 sites.

    It is maintained under a partnership agreement with Kevin Coulter. A $12.00 camping fee per day ($6.00 for disabled and seniors) will apply from May 1 to October 15.
