Description And Directions

  • Site Description: Cherryville Recreation Site (Also known as "The Meadows") is in the foothills of the Monashee Mountains in the North Okanagan on the Shuswap River.

    Due to repeated social problems, and upon the request from the Community of Cherryville as well as the Regional District of North Okanagan, Recreation Sites and Trails BC has decided to make the Cherryville Recreation Site a DAY USE ONLY site. Parking is now available upon entry to the site, and users may walk the ~500m to the day use picnicking area and river access.

  • Driving Directions: Follow Hwy 6 to Cherryville to Sugar Lake Rd. Access to the campground is about 5.3 km from the Hwy 6/Sugar Lake jct and is on your left (west).
