  • Site Description:This 7 unit campground is situated on the north shore of Francois Lake. There is a gravel beach and boat launch, two outhouses, and a short hiking trail out to the end of the peninsula with a great lookout on a small hill overlooking the lake. There have been recent (2023) accessibility upgrades to this site including new picnic tables with concrete bases, signage and parking lot improvements. The site is quite spacious with easy access off Colleymount Rd. There are several fish species available in Francois Lake for anglers.   • Driving Directions: Near Burns Lake, from Hwy 16 drive south on Hwy 35 for ~22 km to the T-junction with Colleymount Road. Turn right on Colleymount and travel west for ~47 km to the site. Site is on the lakeshore on your left and marked with a 3 blade sign. Site is about 47km from Northbank ferry terminal (Francois Lake), Colleymount road is paved to 30km, then gravel after that.
