  • Site Description: Watersprite Lake Recreation Site is a popular day use and overnight camping destination East of Squamish. The site offers overnight camping around Watersprite lake, impressive views, mountaineering and alpine hiking opportunities. Overnight camping is fee for service and reservation only.Go to this link to make a reservation https://recsites.bcmc.ca/index.php/reservations/watersprite-lake-campground Dogs must be kept on leash in the camping area and must be kept out of sensitive habitat. The grassy marsh areas around the lake are particularly sensitive. You must camp in a designated camp site within Watersprite Lake Recreation Site.

  • Driving Directions: Turn east off of HWY 99 just north of the Stawanamus Chief on to the Mamquam FSR. Follow this road to 12.5 km. where you cross over the Mamquam River. After another .5 km you will cross Skookum Creek, take the next left onto the Skookum Creek access road. Follow this road to the Watersprite Lake Trailhead, located at the end of the road. This is a 4x4 road, do not attempt it in a low clearance vehicle.
