  • Site Description:Bowman Point offers a sheltered anchorage for boats, in the creek mouth. This east facing site catches the early morning sun. In the evening, the sun sets early behind the mountains giving relief from the heat of the day. Tenters have the choice of level areas under the trees, or the beach. The treed sites are separated from each other by rocky outcrops. The beach, at lower lake levels, is pleasant to hike along. Fishing at the creek mouth is good.

  • Driving Directions:Bowman Point is only accessible by boat. From the boat launch at Syringa Creek Provincial Park, travel up the Lower Arrow Lake to the first major drainage past Renata. Bowman Point is on the west side of the lake, as is Renata. There is a navigational aid on the point just south of the creek mouth. The "Bowman Point Recreation Site" sign is visible from the water. Bowman Point is directly across the lake from the Sunshine Bay Recreation Site.
