Trails north and west of Porcupine Meadows and Bonaparte Provincial Park remains closed for wildfire recovery activities (for example, danger tree assessing and falling, area assessments, etc) and to prevent negative impacts to ecosystems and wildlife.

• Site Description:The Bonaparte/Tranquille Snowmobile Trails are an extensive trail network providing snowmobile access to the Tranquille Lake area, Porcupine Meadows Provincial Park, Tsintsunko Lakes Provincial Park and Bonaparte Provincial Park.
  
  The network of trails is comprised of unplowed Forest Service Roads, and snowmobile trails. These trails are maintained under a Partnership Agreement with the Kamloops Snowmobile Association. Visit their webpage for membership details, day passes and trail conditions.

  Be aware of the nearby Motor Vehicle Closed Area in response to the 2021 wildfire season.

• Driving Directions:Access to this trail network is via the Lac Du Bois Rd/Sawmill FSR. Follow the Lac Du Bois Road beyond Bachelor Heights north of Kamloops, continue onto the Sawmill FSR. The road is typically cleared to staging areas at 21 km and 22 km.
