Fletcher Lake (Alexis Creek)

Site Description: NOTICE: Fence construction work will be taking place within the Fletcher Lake Recreation Site from approximately September 19-30, 2023. Visitors to the rec site may experience some additional noise and disturbance during this time. This open, grassy recreation site is located on the northeast side of Fletcher Lake. This is a popular fishing destination that is easily accessible for most vehicles. The lake is popular for ice fishing during the winter. There are opportunities for bird watching here as well.

Driving Directions: From Williams Lake follow Hwy 20 for approximately 90 km to Hanceville. Turn left/south at Lee's Corner onto the Big Creek Road (700 Road). Follow the 700 Road for approximately 5 km to the junction with Taseko Lake Road, and turn left to stay on the Big Creek / 700 Road. Continue about another 21 km to about the 726 km mark, and turn right to enter the Fletcher Lake Recreation Site.
