  • Site Description: NOTICE OF DOUGLAS-FIR BARK BEETLE SANITATION HARVESTING Please be advised starting December 1, 2016 and running through to March 31, 2017, Tolko Industries Limited will be harvesting Douglas-fir bark beetle attacked trees in various locations around Williams Lake. Please note that some of these Douglas-fir bark beetle attack sites do intersect local mountain biking trails in the South Lakeside, Fox Mountain and Esler area. Tolko is jointly working with the local Mountain Bike Club and has advised them of the sites that will be harvested. Please use caution and avoid these areas when harvesting operations are active. Maps of the harvest sites are available at Tolko�s Cariboo Woodlands office which is located at 925 Second Avenue North in Williams Lake. Spokey Hollow is one trail within the Westsyde Mtn Bike Trail network. The network offers all level of riders a unique, interior riding experience, which can vary from epic cross country to some of the newest wood construction in the area. Check out www.ridethecariboo.ca for highlights **** The Spokey Hollow Trail Network is within an active Cattle Range, please ride without your dogs, if you need to take your dog with you, please consider the Fox Mtn trails*****

  • Driving Directions: The main access point to the top of the network is; from Hwy 20 West, turn right onto Esler Road, past the soccer complex is Bysak Road (under the powerlines), follow this main road for approximately 4km and on the right is the trail head for Snakes and Ladders Trail, from Snakes you can branch out onto many of the other lines. The network terminates in the Williams Lake River Valley and main parking area is across from the cemetery on Mackenzie Ave.
